Your Data Platform Partner
I'm Mike Jenkins, the founder of Jenx Limited. I work as an embedded data platform contractor — which means you get a senior practitioner doing the work, not a consultancy delegating to a junior team. I've spent nearly two decades in financial services and FinTech, including scaling a regulated investment platform to over $7 billion in administered assets. I understand the data challenges that come with operating in a complex, compliance-driven environment. Today I work with financial services and FinTech businesses across New Zealand on medium-term engagements and fractional arrangements — building the data infrastructure that lets you make better decisions, faster.

How I Work
I typically engage on a medium-term embedded basis — working alongside your team for an agreed number of days per week over a 3–6 month period or longer. This gives you the continuity of a dedicated resource without the overhead of a permanent hire.
For businesses that need less than full-time support, I also work on a fractional basis — a set number of days per month focused on a specific area of your data platform.
Either way, you deal directly with me. No account managers, no handoffs, no juniors.
